I have been grooming Coco myself for the past 3 years, as the one time I took her to the groomers (another spot in park slope), even though I told them the cut I wanted, they did their own thing and I hated the cut she got.
I decided to try again with home doggy. I told them specifically what I wanted and they followed through beautifully! Just like I had asked!
Yulieth worked wonders on our pup Charlie (Cavapoo)! She did a great job getting rid of his mats, making his fur SUPER soft, and trimming his beard/face.
We’ve taken Charlie to many different groomers and this was the best cut he’s ever had by far. We’ve requested to use Yulieth for all our appointments going forward!

Hi! My dog Romeo had a groomer bath at Homedoggy and I noticed he had some dry skin under his armpits. The team recommended their medicated shampoo, and it worked wonders! After just two medicated baths during his grooming sessions, the dryness completely disappeared. I really love this place and the amazing staff!
I absolutely LOVE Homedoggy! I take my dog there for daycare and occasional boarding, and I never have to worry because I know he is well taken care of. He is always so excited to see all the staff, and sometimes when I’m out walking him, we’ll run into walkers from Homedoggy and they know him immediately. One time when I let them know my dog had been sick, they thoughtfully called me the next day just to check on how he was doing because the staff was worried about him. I would recommend them to anyone!
Simply amazing!!! They pulled off an AKC show dog cut for my 6mo Poodle puppy!!! She suffered a terrible autoimmune attack (NOT contagious AT ALL, don’t worry) & lost a lot of skin and hair before she was treated. The vets absolutely butchered her coat treating her wounds. It was a real hack job, but medically necessary. On top of that, we could not groom her at all while she was on immunosuppressants for risk of illness or infection so her hair grew to about 3 inches w/ random shaved spots everywhere. We wanted to treat her with a special fancy haircut for all she’s been through. The groomer transformed her into such a beauty!! They were very kind and personable and even gave a little discount because we were first time customers. They are the best! Will definitely come back. Her fancy cut was priced high(understandably, and it was still a fair price for that cut), but originally our quote for a regular cut and groom was very reasonable! Everyone I’ve spoken to over the phone is very kind and communicative. They really seem to care about their everyone’s furbabies & the satisfaction of their clients.
PS – I typically never bother taking the time to write reviews, srsly. But Homedoggy deserves it!
