We have used Prospect Bark for over 15 years with 3 dogs and 2 cats and could not recommendthem more highly for both walking and overnight stays. They are incredibly professional, always on time, and it is very easy to schedule whatever you need. Most importantly, they LOVE pets! They always make sure that the pet and the walker/carer have good chemistry before any stay. We have never felt the need to seek another carer, after years of switching.
This is the best day care I have come across. Communicative, clear, sweet, and thoughtful. I feel confident leaving our dog here for the day or when we go on vacation for weeks at a time. CS, the owner, is the real deal. She knows dogs and her staff is as responsive as she is. I am so impressed and feel grateful to have this resource at our disposal.
We mentioned it was our dog’s birthday and they gave him a bandana and a ball. So silly but so thoughtful and sweet when they could have just done nothing.
Also the outdoor area is so important and hard to find in NYC. We never feel like our dog is stressed out by the commotion of other dogs or confines of the indoor area. He has his own cubby with his picture on it. Can not express how appreciative I am of this business. Highly recommend
Prospect Bark has been wonderful for us and our new puppy! They have supported us every step of the way from early training, socializing, daycare (when she was ready!), and overnight stays. We’ve been bringing our dog Bari to ProspectBArk Daycare for about a year now, and it has been a truly wonderful experience from day one. The staff—especially Tina and the owner Chun Soon—are kind, gentle, and deeply attentive. They’ve created a nurturing, structured environment that makes both pups and their humans feel like part of the family.
Bari is a social dog who loves meeting and playing with other dogs, and this has proven to be the perfect place for him to thrive. As a rescue, he’s more cautious with people, but over time, he’s grown comfortable with the staff. He’ll now sniff their hands and even accept some pets, all on his own terms. I really appreciate how the team respects each dog’s pace and personality.
They also go above and beyond with special events like their Winter Wonderland Pawty and Lunar New Year celebration. Since Bari is from South Korea, the Lunar New Year Pawty was especially meaningful—he got to wear a special outfit, eat a delicious vegan moon cake, and celebrate with other Asian-origin pups.
The two-phase evaluation process shows how seriously they take compatibility and safety. I felt confident right away that Bari was in good hands, and the daily updates, photos, and videos are always a joy to receive.
Whether it’s for a regular daycare day or a longer overnight staycation, ProspectBArk gives us total peace of mind. Every daycare morning, Bari wakes up excited and can’t wait to get through their doors. Wish I could give ProspectBark more than 5 stars! They are absolutely the best! Our dog Lola absolutely loves coming here for daycare and overnights. You can tell how much the staff truly cares about all of the dogs that come here. We get the cutest photos and videos throughout the day (they send so many throughout the day, and you can tell how much fun all of the dogs are having) so we never have to wonder how she is doing & they always make us smile. They set up pools for the dogs during the Summer, organize different activities, and make healthy treats for the dogs too. The space is also extremely clean! This is truly such an incredible place and we always trust them to watch our dog Lola – she really has a BLAST here! I can’t recommend ProspectBark enough!
