Great park, very clean, there’s a great local community that comes out on weekends and plants flowers and cleans up the park.

Father’s Day picnic at Cooper Park, for the Williamsburg and Bushwick Community was a very nice picnic full of fellowship and community, food, awards, Assemblywoman Maritza Davila, was there to kick off the celebration with her community the best time had. Everyone enjoyed the food and celebration and music. This was their 12th Fathers Day Anniversary. One thing, the toilets was not working on that side of the park. The hosts had to come out of pocket to pay for a porta potty. They only were able to afford 1. But a great time honoring dads was great. The Watchmen group is incredible . These are men who donated to the community and never asked anything in return. How awesome is that!! The park was clean. You can see they are doing some construction to make the park nice.

Usually pretty quiet, and very well frequented by various ages because of the dynamics of the park. There is an open field space, a dog park section, a skate park section, a kiddie playground (separate areas for the age groups) with swings(😱), a workout area, a magnitude of benches and lots of great plant life. I usually like to go and act like im in a magical forest. Its beautiful, especially when the clouds are well separated and its warm, because in the open circle it looks like great scenery as the sun sets against the trees! Its amazing for this area in Brooklyn!
