🐾 How to Handle Aggressive Dogs at the Dog Park – Real Advice from Dog Owners
Visiting the dog park can be a joyful activity for both you and your furry friend—but aggressive encounters can quickly […]

Artivio Guerrero Park, located at 6000 61st St in the Florin area of Sacramento, is a vibrant local spot with plenty of open green space, shaded areas, and a pet-friendly atmosphere. While not a dedicated dog park, it’s a favorite for neighborhood dog owners to walk their pets along the park’s grassy expanses and paved paths. The park features a single entrance/exit (great for peace of mind) and offers shaded areas under large trees, making those summer strolls extra enjoyable for you and your pup.
The park includes amenities for families such as two playgrounds (with equipment for various ages), basketball and volleyball courts, exercise equipment, barbecue and picnic areas with tables, and a fun splash water feature in the summertime. Note that Artivio Guerrero Park does not have public restrooms or a water fountain, so plan ahead. The park is generally considered safe, clean, and community-friendly, with plenty of room for activities and dog walks. It’s open year-round, but the gate closes at sunset.
I used to go here a lot it was fun someone told me that a little kid used to sneak in and change their clothes their so they would look like a different person just to play at night time XD
only reason i’m not giving this park five stars is because it lacks a public restroom. We took toddlers here to play they loved it but we left early due to the lack of facilities
This is one of our favorite go to parks. I love that there is one exit and one entrance and that they have a workout circuit and two playgrounds for different ages. And in the summer they have water so that’s tons of fun. 10/10
This is a wonderful little neighborhood park, and feels relatively safe. Although this isn’t a dog park, it’s a nice place to take your dog for a walk. There are no restroom facilities there. The park has a gate that closes at sunset.
Nice playground, basketball court, skateboard area, walking path with exercise equipment. There is also a covered area with 4 picnic tables and benches near a bbq (unable to recall how many bbqs). In the summer there is an area that has tall poles that look like flower/plants that spray water 💧 too cool off, I love that feature. Lots of grassy area as well, I see kids playing soccer ⚽️ often. Overall, this is a happy little park.
I rarely get to take my granddaughter out to a park. When we did go, this one was not the best. The reason is there were some young teen aged kids sitting on the play structure. There were about 4-5 of them. They were blocking the access to a couple slides. Cool play ground. They have a pretty neat merry go round too. You rarely see them any more
