We came up here on our wedding anniversary. I probably would have enjoyed it more without our toddler screaming his head off the entire time we were at the summit (his way of saying “Happy Anniversary!”, I guess), and if I hadn’t gotten stung by a wasp on our hike back to the car. That being said, the hike from the trailhead on Brimestone Lane is relatively easy and of decent length, though a little rocky for the jogging stroller we had brought him in. When you reach the end at Tippling Rock, it gets a little steep with some makeshift steps to climb, but the view from the top is pretty stunning, as you can see to the north for miles on a clear day. I’d like to come back without the little tyke, or perhaps when he’s a little older.
Great little hike. 4 and 7 great old made it out and back without a problem. Had lunch at the top with a view of the prudential building!
Great place to take the family on a hike. Very dog friendly, and a great place to take your pup for exercise while socially distancing.
One of our go-tos when we’re looking for a short but sweet hike. Good view of Boston on a clear day. Not too strenuous but just enough to get a little sweat going. 😉
Nice views! Good difficulty. Definitely just enjoyed my first time here. Needs better entrance and exit signing though, I think.
