It’s beautiful, safe and has different levels of trails from low impact to higher levels for those who want more of a physical challenge. Great parking as well. It was my 1st time there and I plan on returning soon. My husband and I drove a little further than our usual local walking trail. We just felt like going somewhere different for a change and were not disappointed. My husband and I had a picnic, they also have a playground for children and several picnic tables available. It was a really nice experience.
I went with my bearded dragon and my dog, and they both loved it. My dog (technically my brothers dog) is a dachshund, so she has short legs. She walked up the loop and was a little tired at the end. So we got her some water and she was happy :3 my beardie smiled and was not tired. That’s because she was being held by me. Sapphire (the dragon) kept trying to climb into my hair, lol. It is a very scenic trail and is very fun. I went to a cook out there 2 days after we took the walk and they have a cool playground that I put my bendy dragon on and it was very fun. That playground was also the place where me and my best friend came up with the phrase ” denki sandwich”
I absolutely love walking here! There’s a wonderful selection of trails, and they even have some exercise equipment available.
Always great place for a run! Nice groomed trails. Large portion in the shade. Nice and cool place to go for a hike, run or bike ride! Get your kids off those video games and get outside! They’ve recently added a play area for the kids.
I do not enjoy walking but I have to do it and it makes it significantly better when I find a well-cared-for path that is either paved or not uneven. They have signs about bears everywhere but don’t let that scare you. (I’m not saying that if you walk after dark and/or alone there wouldn’t be a chance to run into wildlife. I’m just saying it didn’t appear to be a path that bears would be interested in normally. Dogs are frequently walking with people (leashed as far as I saw). People were spaced just outside of view but if you stopped walking it would be no more than a minute or two before you encountered someone. So, I always felt safe and was able to finish walking and enjoy the beautiful feel of nature on the trail.
