Kierland Park in Scottsdale, Arizona, is a quiet neighborhood destination perfect for dog lovers looking for spacious grounds to enjoy outdoor activities. The park features large grassy areas ideal for playing fetch, picnics, and relaxing, with tree-lined spaces providing pockets of shade throughout the day. Although not an official dog park, it is frequented by local dog owners for off-leash play, though users should be aware of neighborhood expectations and potential leash enforcement.
The park is well maintained and offers a serene environment, making it a fantastic option for walks, short hikes, and nature appreciation. While there are a few picnic tables and benches, amenities such as water fountains and restrooms are notably lacking, so visitors should come prepared. The easy-to-navigate walking paths, shaded playground, and ample green spaces make Kierland Park a favorite “hidden gem” for families and pet owners in Scottsdale.
Nice and calm. I ate a picnic there. I wish there was a bathroom, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. The playground looked fun for kids.
This is a good place to take your littles. The playground area is really small though. There are a few picnic benches. Large grassy area for playing sports or fetch with the dog!
Beautiful private serene quiet neighborhood park across from the golf course. The only two trade-offs I found were a) it didn’t have a place to go to the bathroom or a water fountain and b) none of the trees seemed close enough to tie up a hammock.
This made it seem like they didn’t want to encourage people to stay long and maybe that was intentional because it’s such a private neighborhood asset but if it’s meant to be a public park those features would really help encourage people to use it.
A decent sized park in the middle of a neighborhood and a large path to walk around. Toddler swings and a few things to climb and slide down. No swings for older kids. Well shaded.
Nice quiet neighborhood near a golf course, the grouds are well maintained, the only drawback i saw was no shaded parking
