If you’re searching for a well-maintained, dog-friendly park in Mesa, Arizona, Mulberry Clubhouse Park is a great local choice. Known for its spacious grounds, unique playgrounds, shaded areas, and walking paths surrounded by native desert plants, this park offers plenty for families and pet owners alike. While not a dedicated dog park, it features open grassy fields and walking trails that are perfect for leashed walks with your dog, as well as pet-friendly trails with labeled plant species and abundant wildlife like bunnies and birds to enjoy along your stroll.
The park is renowned for its variety of activities, including multiple playgrounds for kids, basketball and volleyball courts, BBQ grills, and picnic tables. While there are water fountains (noted as sometimes running hot), shaded picnic areas, and benches throughout, there is no specific fenced or off-leash dog area. Restrooms are available and generally maintained, and the park is kept clean thanks to dedicated staff. It’s a popular spot on weekends for families but rarely feels overcrowded, making it ideal for a relaxing visit with your dog in the heart of Mesa.
This place is nice!!!!! Might buy a house here one day!

Decent, small park. It’s a small playground area, but even still there are 4 ways to walk or climb up onto the structure and two slides to go down. There’s also 3 swings, 2 regular, 1 baby. 1 spring seat and 1 spinning seat. For the parents, there are 2 benches around the outsides of the play area. The ground is wood chips – probably not great for anything other than shoes.
