It’s the most beautiful dog park I have ever visited. I been to the best dog parks in Colorado and this park has everything needed to keep the dog and owners happy. Couldn’t believe it’s in buffalo.
Very clean and well maintained too! Highly recommend this.
This dog park is different. You walk around the park with your dog instead of socializing. Don’t get me wrong, you can socialize that people are constantly walking like in a normal park. The park is on the island and it’s pretty cool. My dog loves going here.
We love taking our doodle off the leash because she is friendly and well behaved. She had a blast running around the park with all the other dogs she met. We went on possibly the muddiest day of the year, after the snow had melted. It was a ton of fun and it wore her out, which was the plan.
If heaven exists, it’s prob a lot like this. lol jkjk. But wow, what a wonderful place to spend the day! To think, in todays day and age of taboo safety guidelines and lawsuits, a city of parks and rec department actually did something amazing for the people and their pets, to create an beautiful, peaceful, and tranquil space for dogs to roam free! I’m just baffled. We drove 2 hours from Erie to see it. It’s not a huge area, it’s just the right size, but the trees are so pretty, the old brick building and structures dating back to 1930s! A swing. So splendid. I thought it was so cool how if you give dogs room to roam, they rarely fight. Unfortunately from other reviews I see a few ppl had a bad experience which is sad. Ppl who have aggressive breeds should NOT come here ever. Or keep your dog on leash. Don’t ruin it for the rest of us! Cause having your dog off leash is what makes it so fun and unique. We were throwing a ball to our retriever and talked to a few friendly ppl. Quite a few ppl didn’t seem to friendly or talkative. Or overly worrisome about their dog but oh well. Ours enjoyed it. The water is a little funky in parts with signs saying it’s highly discouraged to allow dogs to swim but ours was fine and had a blast. They even had a spray off station. Would love to come back. Hope they host some events with vendors and crafts. The perfect place for an outdoor music event. Bring in a beer event and it would be huge!
Very cute, well managed nature area where well trained dogs can run around without a leash. Good gate system in place to assure dogs don’t escape. Pretty view of the creek.
