Two fenced in areas for off leash play. Limited shade. Beautiful area. Hiking trails on leash around.

We’ve been going here for a few years now. Sometimes utilizing the fenced in dog areas—if we have to, but mostly just utilizing the on-leash hiking trails surrounding the foothills.

We have two large dogs, sadly the Large Dog fenced in areas are ALWAYS overgrown and unkempt. The Small Dog area, however, always has nicely trimmed grass and foliage always cut down so that the dogs can run and play.

This is NEVER the case on the Large Dog sides. Why the discrimination? Large dogs deserve a trimmed open space to run as well. No wonder why people with large dogs let their dogs run in the grass in the middle of the open park area. They have no other choice.

Nice view for 1 star. Otherwise quite bad. Have had terrible experiences here and will not be returning. Lady with an english cream golden retriever sprayed my dog in the face with canned air when he was doing nothing wrong. I heard her say “you need to go” then a hissing sound, looked around to see her spraying him directly in the face and he was cowering away. He ran to me then we immediately left. I got him home and rinsed his eyes and face out and monitored him for 24 hrs. See first pic for owner and dog. I stupidly went back and my pup was snapped at in the face by a different dog while he was drinking water. Owner stepped in then the dog did it to him again and the owner did nothing and the dog snapped at his face multiple times and ended up nicking his eye causing it to bleed. I, along with 4 others left. Second picture is of that dog and owners.
Otherwise people leave filled poop bags and trash around without taking them to the dumpster, which is in the parking lot on the way out. It’s quite frustrating and sad how many people bring dogs clearly not appropriate for a dog park, don’t watch their dogs, don’t clean up after themselves, and leave so much trash around. Wish the community would be more responsible in all these areas so dogs wouldn’t get hurt, waste would be lying around, and people would be responsible owners. But that’s not the case here. Will not be returning 🙁
