Nice park, owners, and dogs are friendly. Public restrooms are available. Owners need to keep track of their dogs and pick up after them.
After we finished with Breckenridge, kids 15,13,9 wanted to sled. We went to this small hill, what a great little park. Kids did the sledding we watched from the bottom. They have bathrooms right at the bottom of the hill and a dog park. Enjoyed, seems to be a local place.

What a great park! Spacious with free 3 hour parking nearly impossible to find elsewhere in Breck. I would’ve planned a day here on our trip if I had known about it in advance.
If your goal is to let your dogs play with other canines, Carter Dog Park is the best destination in Summit County.
Fairly centrally located on the east side of Breckenridge, this dog park is not only a local hub for doggie dates, but also an excellent public sledding hill and multi use recreational area.
Visiting also includes wonderful views of Breckenridge Ski Resort.
I would recommend this park to anyone looking to bring Fido out for some social time.
