Crystal Lake Park stands out as a clean, safe, and regularly maintained destination. With its pet-friendly policies, beautiful views of the lake, and amenities like wheelchair accessible parking and entrance, it’s an inviting spot for a dog walk or a weekend outing. The park is also equipped with restrooms at the south parking lot and port-a-potties at the Route 130 lot, ensuring convenience for all visitors. With plenty of shade along the trails and ample parking, Crystal Lake Park is a top pick for anyone seeking a dog park in Bordentown, NJ.
A quiet, serene and clean park with trails for hiking, biking, walking and just site seeing. There’s even a lake that I saw people fishing 🎣. There are port a potties at the entrance, if needed and ramps for WheelchairAccess ♿
I would call this “choose your own adventure” park. You can make your walk, bike ride, or horseback ride as easy or as challenging as you’d like. There is a wide, paved path that is very flat that connects the route 130 and Crystal Lake South parking lots, and there are grass paths around the fields. Then, if you’re up for a challenge, there are dirt paths through the woods that are quite steep in parts. Overall, a very nice park. The route 130 parking lot only has a port-o-potty, but the south parking lot has bathrooms. There is also horse trailer parking and a horse mounting ramp at the South lot. Unfortunately, you can’t ever escape the road noise, but I would definitely visit again.
Great gem of park! Looking to mountain bike there soon. Anyone ever bike the dirt trails? -Mike
Pleasant area to walk, bike or take your dog for a walk. Some trails are paved, some are mowed grass, and some are dirt paths.
I’ve been going here for years, this park keeps changing and you never know what you’ll see from deer to foxes and horses.
They are always keeping this park clean and you never see it overly crowded.
If you like a safe and enjoyable walking area this is one to visit
