Jackie Husen Park is a charming neighborhood park in Portland, Oregon, featuring a small to medium-sized fully fenced dog park. This pet-friendly space is located right next to the playground, making it a convenient destination for families and their dogs. The dog park is surfaced with bark chips over dirt, providing a secure environment for off-leash play. Although the park tends to be quiet and clean, the dog area may become muddy during wetter months.
Beyond the dog area, Jackie Husen Park offers amenities for all ages, including a kids’ playground with swings, picnic tables, a portable restroom, and a free parking lot that can accommodate around 15 vehicles. The park connects to a scenic hiking trail leading to a creek, perfect for on-leash dog walks and nature lovers. Visitors appreciate the park’s tranquil vibe, neighborhood setting, and the combination of activities for both kids and canines.
Our dog loves this park! It’s usually very quiet and clean 🐶
Love this short walk in nature. To whom ever made this flower display by the creek.. you have beautiful energy.
Park is kids safe… It’s located in a neighborhood. There’s a playground for the kids. There’s 4 swings. 2 for teenager and 2 for toddler. You can barbecue there… The park is open until dusk. There’s a portable restroom aka honey bucket. Great for a birthday party or simply just having a picnic. There is a free parking lot can fit up to around 15 vehicles. There is a hiking trail at this park and along the hiking trail there is a creek down there. There’s also a gated dog park right next by the playground.
nice and quite neighbourhood park, there’re play ground for kid and a baseball field for any sport even. it connects to a trail leading to a creek.
Sweet little park with a great, small/medium basic dog park. One entrance/exit to the dog park and fully fenced. Greenbelt behind the dog park is nice. Bark chips over dirt in the dog park, so probably gets quite muddy in wetter months. A few resident tennis balls, no obstacles or agility equipment.
