Annwood Park is a small but charming urban oasis nestled at 1910 Madison Rd, perfect for both dog owners and families in the Cincinnati area. Known for its old-growth shade trees, tranquil atmosphere, and beautifully maintained flower beds, this park offers a peaceful retreat for those seeking a quiet space to relax with their canine companions. The park’s highlight is its historic gas lampposts and a picturesque grotto with a water feature, adding classic character that sets it apart from other dog-friendly spots in Cincinnati.
While Annwood Park is not a dedicated dog park and lacks fenced play areas or separate sections for large and small dogs, it is a pet-welcoming environment with benches and ample shaded spots under old trees. The park’s serene setting is ideal for leisurely strolls on-leash and for enjoying picnics or meetups with friends and pets. With its convenient location near the O’Byronville shopping area, Annwood Park is easily accessible and serves as a lovely respite in the heart of the city.
Very small corner park but very quiet, serene, beautiful little place. Relaxing and therapeutic waterfall. Just wish it was bigger.
Super tiny, but absolutely gorgeous otherwise. Definitely a good spot for a picnic or get-together.
Beautiful park with old trees, a grotto and the classic Gas Lites from over 100 years ago. A little treasure!
Cute, sweet spot. Your quintessential “breath of fresh air” in this end of the city, with shade trees, wildflowers, a few planted and tended flower beds, benches, gas lampposts, and a small water feature in the “grotto”.
A small park located near O’Byronville shopping area. A nice respite.
