I used to walk through here even before they added concrete paving. Cool spot to walk/jog around but not as nice as before because of the constant worry of cyclists zooming past you. Definetely do miss the peace and quietness of when there was no paving.

This is quite literally a paved road between a meadow. It’s a great place to get a good walk or bike, although it’s not very long. The trail being paved is, moreso, designed to be walked or jogged. Be mindful of pedestrians if on a bike. Bikes and bicyclists are common so be mindful of the bicyclists if you’re a pedestrian. For a longer experience, try Memorial Park. I’m sorry I didn’t take an actual photo of the tail, but other posters have already covered that, so attached are a few flowers that I saw in early March.

Entirely paved and feels very safe other than the Schwartz Park to Wirt section, that was kind of sketchy and had people in tents in the trees and brush

Great safe and easy long trail. The trail maps along the way help track how far you’ve walked.

A good bike ride, unfortunately the east side is a hard scramble as workers are raising huge power stations making for a difficult passage.
