Rosedale Dog Park is a popular off-leash spot in Pennington, NJ, nestled along the scenic Lawrence Hopewell Trail. This expansive and well-maintained dog park offers separate areas for small (<35 lbs) and large (35 lbs and over) dogs, though sometimes the spaces are combined. The park features accessible amenities such as shaded picnic tables, benches, wheelchair-friendly pathways, and plenty of open space for dogs to play, explore, and socialize.
Dog owners appreciate the lush, green grounds in warmer months, multiple shaded areas, fresh running water, and waste stations stocked with bags. The Rosedale Dog Park is great for picnics and kid-friendly activities, making it an ideal pet- and family-friendly destination. The park is known for its friendly visitors (both human and canine!) and is especially popular on weekends for exercise and community gatherings.
Love taking buddy here! With the wide open spaces to the shaded tables to the water bowls and shower it’s a great place to let your fur baby off leash to socialize!
Beautiful, very large dog park. I was so impressed. I was visiting from out of town with my dog and it was perfect. Lots if shaded areas for the dogs and shaded picnic tables for the humans too.
Excellent dog park. Two separate areas, dogs under 35 lbs and 35 lbs and over. Currently everything is combined into one park pending consruction. Starting Oct 25 2022 for aprox 5 weeks it may be closed for maintenance and upgrades. Expected completion the last week of November. We have been visiting for about 18 months our little guy enjoys his visits. Met new friends and he gets his share of exercise.
Nice size park for all size dogs, has a tendency to get a bit muddy in the winter months, however, during the warm weather, Rosedale is a lush. Lots of fun hills and tunnels, a water park area, and picnic benches can make for a nice afternoon. A handsome population of dog breeds frequent this park also.
I’ve met a lot of nice people here and the dogs love it. There is fresh running water and a huge area designed for dogs exploration and play. There are picnic tables and benches provided. There are 2 areas should you want to keep your small dog with others less then 35lbs but the other area is for dogs 35lbs and up though smaller dogs are welcome also. Waste bags are available should your doggie poop. There is a singles with dogs group on Sundays from 6-8 pm. Though I heard there is a restroom at the dog park I’ve never noticed it and it may be a porta potty. I’m not sure but there are restrooms just a short distance away at the picnic area.
