Off the beaten path and great for anyone who doesn’t like a big crowd:-) Shout out to our friend Jon Owens who helped build it!
We came back again because our kids love the teeter totters plus the slide is bigger than the ones at most parks:-)
It is a wonderful place for children. I have plenty of room to ride their bikes and swing and play. They could use some updated outside grills. Restrooms are great. Lots of seating.
An interesting and challenging trail with many turns and small creeks. Picnic area and play equipment.
Veterans names commemorated
on the picnic tables under 2 shelters.
This is a lovely place. I attended a celebration of life for a beloved Veteran, Mr. Payton who passed months ago. COVID-19 sheltering in place had just begun & funerals were nearly impossible. This venue allowed us to gather safely to celebrate & honor his memory. The tables had small brass memorials to local veterans. I was sad to see that my friend & local veteran Dallas Scamihorn had passed, & I wasn’t aware of it.
A beautiful little park. It looks like they are adding to it and growing it. There are shelters, horseshoe pits, a small play set, and a hiking trail. It’s a cute little park that is very secluded.
