Simple yet elegant
This is a quiet and shady little spot in Lincoln Park that features some interesting sculptures and a playground suited for younger children. The playground equipment is small and offers just a few slides and climbing features. The play area is fully enclosed (though the walls are quite low) and has a soft rubber surface. There are a few benches and plenty of shade making this a comfortable spot to sit.
One point of interest – this site is not an official Chicago Park. The location is on the former right of way of Ogden Avenue that once ran northeast through the neighborhood until it was removed in 1967 by Lincoln Park residents. This fact helps explain the strange shape of the site and how it relates to the buildings and other public spaces on neighboring streets.

My baby loved it didn’t want to leave
Perfect little park in the middle of Old Town. One of my favourite places to walk my dogs. It’s quiet & charming.
