I love the park. I have a dog going blind I take to the park. Even though signs say large and small dogs a woman entered small side with a big dog and the man on the large dog said as he came to small dog side, she made me do it! I had to leave as his dog was picking on my dog. People are mixing large and small dogs, not caring about the feelings of other dog owners.
Very good they separate big from small dogs they have water fountains but bring water incase they aren’t working and a bowl they usually have spare balls and they have benches
Neighborhood dog park. With Neighborhood pet owners that think they own it. 2 areas available. Nothing fancy. We won’t be back
After being here several times with my GSD, here is my synopsis: the park itself is a wonderful and fun place (trees providing shade, nice benches, nice gates, doggy bags with trash cans). However, the people that I have encountered have made me swore to NEVER step through those gates again. Of course, it’s not the park owners’ faults, but I feel that I can’t give a full five stars. I have zero experience running a dog park, but I wish there was enforcement of rules. I don’t know how that could be achieved, but these ignorant, idiotic people are ruining the dog park for everyone. 9 times out of 10, I bring my dog here and he gets to get some of that shepherd energy out with another friendly dog. But, that 1 out of 10 experience just so happened to happen to me and my poor dog today. We went to big dog side and almost immediately, a pitbull (or bulldog of some kind, not 100%) latches on to my young dog. And my dog is the type to have his tail in between his legs, head bowed, laying down in front of other dogs to show submission. But I guess that dog just couldn’t stand him. And what makes the situation ten times worse, his dumbass of an owner couldn’t seem to get control of her dog. My family immediately snatched my dog up and returned home, swearing to never go to any dog park again. I hope situations such as mine shed light on the rising problems of this park, and brings this to attention for any dog owner out there: if you take your dog to a dog park, you’re taking a risk. I wish someone would have knocked some sense into me, but I’ve learned my lesson now and can only move forward in helping my dog physically and mentally recover from the trauma he had to experience because of some halfwitted, ignorant, and moronic person.
I checked it out without taking my dogs. I’d bring them back.
They have a Big dog side and a Small dog side.
Water fountains in each, they didn’t seem to work well(they need attention from the city).
Benches to sit on.
Wide open spaces to always keep your dog in view.
Poop bags were available on both sides, which is great!
