Great trail for biking. Level and smooth riding. Vassi’s about 1/2 mile from trail end in Hellertown is a great place to grab a bite to eat. Excellent food and great prices! Worth the short ride.

We love this section of the trail. There is a slight grade but it is barely noticeable. Not sure if there was benches along the way. Ends at Veterans park. And they are some sections where you have to cross the roads.

Only thing that would make this better is if there were less road crossings. I love the trail but running or biking can get annoying when you have to stop a lot to wait for an opening to cross. I understand its just the area, but ive run on the D&L a lot and i guess I’m a little spoiled

Fantastic walking and biking trail that starts at Veterans Park in Quakertown (Richland Twp.) and continues through some beautiful areas until it reaches the Saucon Rail Trail in Coopersburg.

Plenty of parking at Veterans Park when the sports fields are not being used, parking can be a challenge when the fields are full. Still worth the hassle.

The trail is quite wide in most areas allowing for walkers and bikers in both directions to pass each other. Most of the trail is through wooded areas or stone walls on both sides, quite beautiful.

The fall is a pleasant time to experience the trail, the fall colors are at their peak colors.

Pleasant place to walk.

Nice trail, mostly shaded, which is nice. The south end trail starts at the veteran park which is really nice. There aren’t a lot of benches along the trail, except in veterans park. The north end starts at living memorial park which has shaded parking.
