Has a nice layout, but needs some updates and TLC.
We were pleasantly surprised with John Henry Celebration Park. This is nestled in a pretty small town, and I assumed the park would be tiny. It really was nice though, and there were even two sections. We really liked the shaded bench swings all around. There’s a lot of sand for digging and building sand castles, and there’s a nice section for chalk drawing as well. Definitely recommend this park, but be aware that there’s little shade other than the wooden swings.
Beautiful place to bring kids to have some fun. You have the crystal water spring area. The semi-beach that they built around it. The playground areas beautiful. And the picnic area is also beautiful and won’t kept. Restrooms are available. Parking is very limited but we happen to find parking.
It’s an ok park. It’s pretty and maintenance has gotten better. The playground is not shaded though so to hot for the kids. Outdated equipment. Would be great to have splash pad.
A great place to take the kids to run off steam, have a birthday party, and walk the fitness path. The bathrooms are clean and always have toilet paper. Thier are tables and benches to have a picnic on. There are plenty of things for toddlers to do as well as your big kids.
