Trail views are nice and the area is peaceful..a lot of bikers and that’s probably what the trail is best for, BUT do not bring your dogs this time of year. The sides of the trail are completely covered in poison ivy and INFESTED with ticks. We were only on the trail for half an hour, when we got back to the car my dog had at least 50 ticks on her. We will only come here in the winter from now on.
Nice spot for a walk, to hear the water, and to walk up to the historic markers by the Queens Bridge.
Good for walking and cycling.

Well paved.
Awesome trail with water on both sides. Cant wait to return in late spring to summer when the trees are in full bloom and animals are out. Great for a relaxing mind-clearing walk, or an avid biker or trail explorer. Love it!
