The pups enjoy the off leash area. Water is available, plenty of room to run. Beautiful park with plenty of areas to explore.

I wish they would put more grass around for kids to play more sports like soccer or baseball fields. A bicycle track with black asphalt material on the top part so kids can go all around. The whole city is full of dirt, weeds, and desert, we need trees and grass. Desert is NOT an attraction in a park especially here in El Paso, trees and green are. Even a water splash pad.

The park itself is pretty big, but very dry… Hardly any grassy areas. There is limited parking and the dog park is quite a walk from the parking lot. While there are two dog enclosures for small and large dogs, they are both unkept and have uneven terrain. Watch your step.

Wish the grounds were better cared for as this was the first time we’ve taken our dogs. There are
Numerous sticker weeds and holes throughout the small and large dog park. The water station was working and the few benches to sit were nice. It’s still super hot so we didn’t stay too long. Our pups had fun so we may come back because the nicer dog parks are all the way across town.

This is my local dog park and my dog loves it! I have a 75 lb Doberman would is full of energy and loves to play with other dogs! If you are looking for an area for your dog to run open for a bit go here during the day from 8am-3pm and there usually isn’t too many people. They are usually busy on the weekends and afternoons and some people continue to bring dogs that are aggressive or only want to show their dominance. But usually you are in the clear. It is all sand sadly and people do not pick up after their animals or fill in the holes they dig. Besides that my dog has a blast here!
