Located in the heart of Valley View, Pennsylvania, Valley View Park offers a well-maintained, spacious dog park that’s perfect for local dog owners and visitors alike. The dog park features two large, fenced enclosures catering separately to small and large dogs, allowing for safe, off-leash playtime and socialization. Owners will appreciate the benches and covered seating areas that offer shade on sunny days, along with the lush grass and mature trees that give plenty of room for your pup to explore and play fetch.
Valley View Park stands out for its family-friendly amenities beyond the dog park itself. You’ll find playgrounds, pavilions, ample paved walking and hiking trails, and even restrooms on-site. The dog area includes agility equipment like tires and baskets of toys, poop bags and waste stations, and convenient paved paths. Being adjacent to the D&L Trail, it’s a local hotspot for dog-friendly hikes and strolls. Don’t forget to bring your own water, as water sources for dogs may be limited during certain times.
We were here for a birthday party and it is a very nice park. There are swings, a merry-go-round, spring riders, slides, a jungle gym, and a lot of room to run. There are 3 or 4 pavilions and an amphitheatre, as well as restrooms.
The only negative thing that I noticed was the jungle gym had some rusted areas that could cut someone if they fell on it the right way.
Overall, it is a lovely park — great for birthday parties, family reunions, or just a fun day outside.
We went to listen to a band at the park. Very nice place.
Rented a building and a trailer with cinderblocks was left by the park right beside the pavilion we rented. As if there was nowhere else to put it
I went for a concert for first time and had a great time listening to the live music. like most places in a small town there’s no options for food for people who are GF because of Celiac’s disease. But at least you can bring your own stuff.
My son had his son’s birthday’s parties there his 1st and 2 nd. Park is beautiful and clean and some of the friendliest people there. Definitely would recommend this park for any party.
