River is a little low, but navigable in a kayak or canoe. There is amble parking, a boat launch and lots of picnic tables. It was welled mowed on the day I visited, so I had no concern of ticks. It was so peaceful, no road noise, no biting insects. There were birds, damsel, dragon flies, water bugs, frogs and lots of flowers. Joe Pye weed and Pickerel Grass was in bloom.

Nice park, open until dusk. They have an open field great for frisbee and a boat ramp with a small, shaded beach area going down to the Royal River. A small gem with rarely many people.
Nice little park to play with your dog on lawn or cool off in the water. Wish they mowed a larger lawn area. Dogs are off leash and there frequently, dogs who are not friendly to other dogs probably should avoid this park
Beautiful river you can walk down. Perfect place to take a dog or children on a hot day. Good parking easy to find with North Yarmouth park signs. Downside, no restroom leaving you no choice but to use the facilitree.
