Located in the heart of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mt. Carmel Park offers a serene escape for locals and their furry companions. This park is pet-friendly, making it a great option for those seeking a dog park in Cincinnati. While it’s on the smaller side, the park features open grassy areas, playgrounds for kids, and a circle sidewalk ideal for casual strolls or pushing a stroller while enjoying the sights. The atmosphere is peaceful, with enough benches for owners to relax while their pets explore.
Mt. Carmel Park is known for its clean and safe environment. Though parking is mostly on the street and the park can get a bit soggy after rain, visitors appreciate the accessibility with wheelchair-friendly entrances and pathways. The playgrounds are positioned safely away from the road, and there’s a charming little free library on site. If you’re looking for a less crowded, pet-friendly spot to soak up some sun and enjoy dog-friendly walking trails, Mt. Carmel Park is a worthy choice!
Up and coming, more children on playgrounds
Never busy, nice park!
No real parking, small park.i guess it’s ok for small children.amd a small family to grill out.ttaffic kinda heavy.
Clean park and feels safe! A little bit of walking space to soak up some sun.
Parking is on the street. It was a little soggy, could use some mulch. There was some trash needing picked up, and no bathroom, but the equipment was nice and there was no one else there. The circle sidewalk is between the little playground and the big playground and is good for pushing a stroller while you watch older kids play. There is one of those little free libraries and the playgrounds are far enough from the road that I don’t feel nervous about there being no fence. Plenty of benches.
