Beautiful hike if you enjoy getting off groomed trails! The roads up to the trail head are minimum maintenance, but you’ll be fine in anything other than a sports car.

Just miles of nature without another person in site.

Very secluded and quiet. The road to the gate is unpaved but drivable if not too muddy. Inside the main trail is walkable (wear long pants) but the side trails and loop may be a bit overgrown and need some bushwhacking in places.

Lots of bugs this time of year (mid-July)

It’s a working logging trail that you access via a logging trail. We were forced to back up a ways to find a turn off when a semi met us on the tiny two rut road. It is beautiful in fall.

Luke Reznecheck

Great remote hiking trail. Long mile and half drive down a minimum maintenance forest road.
