Great spot for recreating locally and a meaningful tribute to Earl Legacy of whom I had the privilege to know.

Great except the aggressive guy on his bike. I had to keep an eye on him so he did not run over my son trying to skateboard.

Earl Legacy Park is the home of several of Bedford’s sports fields that are used by the various rec leagues in the area. Personally, I’m less interested in the public fields and very interested in the cross country / Nordic ski trails! If you’re a Nordic skier or snowshoe enthusiast, this is a great place to visit. There is a warming hut that is open when there is snow on the ground on weekends or after school when the kids are practicing on the trails. If the hut is open, you can use the bathroom. When the hut is closed you’ll need to use the porta potty. The trails are usually groomed and there are a variety of trails for all levels.
