Liked it a lot and I am bummed that I didn’t get to go back at night to sky gaze. Easy to find and worth driving the gravel road to get to the observation deck.
There is excellent fishing for bluegills where the creek meets the Montour campground bridge. You may spot some massive carp.

Beautiful wetlands in Watkins Glen. This wildlife management area is accessed on Rock Cabin Road a seasonal gravel road. Half way down the road is a small parking area with a tower to view the wetlands from up high. This is a great place to spend some time bird watching or just catching a quick view of the wetlands.
