Nutley Dog Park, located at 53-23 Bloomfield Ave in Nutley, NJ, is a spacious and inviting dog park that is well-loved by local pet owners and families. This pet-friendly park features artificial grass for a clean, mud-free play area, making it a comfortable spot for dogs and their owners year-round. The park stands out in the area for its cleanliness, attentive community, and well-maintained grounds. Children are welcome, and many families enjoy visiting to watch or interact with the energetic pups and their humans.
One of the unique aspects of Nutley Dog Park is its thoughtful amenities: a dog water fountain, a hose for hot days, and agility equipment such as ramps and metal hoops to keep your canine companion active. While there’s ample space to roam, it’s worth noting that shade is limited, so consider visiting earlier or later in the day. The park is kept beautiful by responsible owners, though reminding everyone to clean up after their pets will help sustain its great reputation.
I no longer have a dog however Grand daughter loves to watch all the puppies and dogs.
Nutley Dog Park gets two enthusiastic paws up from my golden retriever and me! It’s clean, spacious, and clearly well cared for—everything you’d want in a great dog park. The other dogs and their humans were friendly and responsible, making for a fun and relaxed visit. My dog even found his newest best friend here!
It’s stood out among the parks we’ve visited in the area recently, and we’ll definitely be back. The only thing I’d tweak? The hay bales along the fence—nice touch, but maybe not the best for keeping ticks away.
Overall, a fantastic spot worth the drive and a great place to spend quality time with my dog!
We have been going to this dog park for several months and most owners are attentive. But my kids and I spend time picking up poop from other dogs. At least our pup isn’t all muddy compared to other dog parks.
I really love this dog park but the last few times I’ve been it’s starting to smell like poop. I really hope people pick up behind their dogs. The perimeter around the gate usually has loads of poop. Please keep this park beautiful and clean!!
It’s a beautiful, new park with artificial grass. It even has a water fountain and a hose to spray the dogs on hot days. There are ramps and metal hoops for the dogs to run around in. The grounds need very little maintenance and the people who come are very respectful about cleaning up after their dogs. I only wish there was more shade for when we were sitting around talking to other people.
