It’s a great shelter and the animals are very well taking care of till they can find new homes for them. Just wish more people would do their part and have their pet spayed or neutered.
Begs and begs people to adopt. You try for WEEKS to adopt a dog only to be lied to saying it’s adopted. You’re told the adopters live in another state only to find out a couple weeks later she’s being bounced around FOSTERS when she could have had her PERMANENT home already.
Staff is rude as heck. If zero stars were an option I’d certainly go with it.
The people at the pound try so hard try to fight a losing battle of fixing the pet population and find homes for animals. They need more funding and more awareness of the problem we face with abandoned pets
The people here are amazing. Their concern for animals is overwhelming. I adopted a beagle they picked up as a stray. Their application was very thorough. But when I walked to the door, the sign said they were at capacity – so sad! Please adopt from shelters and spay your pets!
