Nice trail. I’ve used several different sections over the years. Someday I want to bike the whole thing!

I was not there for rrcreation. Rather, I was responding to a high speed Motor Vehicle Accident where a car left the roadway and traveled toward the trail. The Rail Trails staunchions redirected the vehicle on impact as they were designed to do and remained standing in place. Safety is certainly a priority that has been met on this segment of the trail.

A very nice multi-use trail. We walked 5-miles and only saw three other people. The path is wide enough to accommodate bikes and people walking. It’s also wide enough to safely keep your dog away from other dogs, people, and cyclists if needed.

Parking is on the side of the road on either side. Trailhead is a few feet away. There is no sign indicating that parking is for the trail, but I’ve been there many times and never had a problem. The trail is absolutely wonderful and goes for miles.
