🐾 How to Handle Aggressive Dogs at the Dog Park – Real Advice from Dog Owners
Visiting the dog park can be a joyful activity for both you and your furry friend—but aggressive encounters can quickly […]
Dig It Dog Park is a small, private dog park located at 220 Convention Dr within a residential apartment community in Fairview, Texas. While the park offers a convenient, fenced-in space for local residents and their dogs, it is not open to the public. Visitors should note that access is restricted to community apartment residents, and there is no public gate or general access for non-residents. This exclusive amenity caters primarily to those who live in the connecting apartment complex.
Although reviews note the fenced area is sometimes in need of maintenance and cleanliness can be an issue, the surrounding grounds outside the dog park are attractive and well cared for. This park may be suitable for apartment residents seeking a nearby spot for their dogs to play off-leash in Fairview. If you are not a resident, we recommend looking for other public dog parks in the area.
Close to home. Rarely other dogs there, but enough smells to get my hound dog noses busy
If you lookup the dog park in the town of Fairview’s parks and Rick page it tells you that the dog park is connected to the Overture but it is a public dog park for Fairview and gives you the gate code to access it.
When I arrived I assumed that it was public. Its not. One of the residents said it was fine so we stayed for a little while. Unlike some people, I clean up after my dog. The fenced in area was filthy. Dried out and weeks old feces was present so we booked it out of there quickly. For 2 grand a month for a one bedroom apartment, one would assume the staff actually did maintenance on the place but with as nasty as the park was, they do nothing. When I binned my dogs business, the thing was almost as full as the ground itself. To the staff at these apartments … Do something. Do anything. My goodness its a wonder the place isn’t condemned. The only reason this is not one star is the rest of the grounds OUTSIDE the fenced in area actually looks nice. But we weren’t about to stay just in case there was any parasites from all the mess.
YOU MUST BE A RESIDENT OF THE COMMUNITY APTS – THERE IS NO GATE OPENING TO OUTSIDE PUBLIC FOR THIS VERY VERY SMALL PARK.
Not a park for the public. Access is only through the apartment complex.
Looks nice though. Hopefully this comment will help others not waste their time trying to drive over there like I did. Lol.
