Nice park with lots to do. Very clean.
Saw the lights there. Fun time. Definitely recommend.
This year the lights were the most brilliant I have ever seen. The whole display was breathtaking as the colors just popped off the displays. It is well worth driving through the park and enjoying the beauty. Kudos to the people who worked on setting up the display they did a wonderful job. I highly recommend you take a drive through Forest Park and enjoy the Christmas lights was Christmas Carols playing on your radio.
Inside the Chautauqua building was a display of 32 Christmas trees. You might want to stop get out of the car and go inside the building to take a look at them.
They have a really nice lights set up in the park, they call it “Festival of Lights”. Great fun for kids.
We love taking our dog Jazzy on a walk here, or sometimes we just go by ourselves, it’s a really nice trail you can walk on, you get to see some nature, see some little animals, even one time there was a deer, it’s just nice to come and get some exercise here and you see some people but it’s still very somber and not noisy or anything, perfect little patch of heaven.
