Lovely ambiance and the rosé better than Rosemont’s! Family friendly while also being classy. Love this place. The only thing it needs is a sign on the door indicating it’s a door and they are open. There was one guy who didn’t know how to get in! Lol
Nice day sipping g wine, looking at crafts and eating from the food trucks. Band was playing and hot air balloons were starting to fill up.
Had a nice afternoon at this vineyard. The grounds are beautiful and expansive with lots of shady trees to sit under and tons more seating inside the repurposed stables they use as a tasting room.
Wines were fantastic as well, brought a few home. Close to Raleigh area, 1-1/2 hr drive. Well worth the trip, we will return!
Wonderful winery with comfortable areas in which to gather and relax. The stalls doors close leaving you with your own little area of perfection. Great for visitors with dogs. We brought our three and they settled into one of the stalls on the carpet like they were home. Watching the hillside. It was one of the most relaxing wineries we’ve been to in the United States.
My husband and I really enjoyed discovering this gem of a winery in rural Virginia. Ample outdoor seating, a beautiful and comfortable indoor venue, and a charming hostess who made us feel welcome and imparted the blurb about the wines and history of this fairly new winery. The wines surpassed our expectations, the Merlot, Cab Franc, Pinot and Chardonelle were excellent. They have a Honeysuckle (white) and a Sweet Red for those who enjoy something sweeter. The aromas of the aforementioned wines have complexity and integrity and will hold up as they age. Do visit, you will enjoy the Virginia hospitality and charm that this winery has to offer
