Visiting the dog park can be a joyful activity for both you and your furry friend—but aggressive encounters can quickly […]
Lewisburg Dog Park by Royal Canin is a spacious and beautifully maintained dog park located in Lewisburg, Ohio, perfect for those searching for a dog-friendly park near Lewisburg or traveling through Preble County with their pets. The park features expansive grassy areas, making it great for dogs to run off-leash and enjoy themselves. Visitors appreciate the separate sections for small and large dogs, ensuring a safe environment for pups of all sizes to socialize and exercise.
This dog park includes agility equipment, water stations, and waste bag dispensers stocked near the main entrance. You’ll also find shaded areas with benches and a covered shelter for owner comfort. The park is praised for its cleanliness, friendliness among frequent visitors, and the peace of mind provided by its secure fencing. Whether you are a local or just passing through Lewisburg, this park offers a pet-friendly destination that’ll make tails wag and owners smile!
We were staying in a nearby hotel and searched for a dog park.
This park is nice and clean. Grass was in good shape. Our dog used one of the agility ramps. He never tried this before and after his third time trying he was getting comfortable. Nice touch.
Only suggestion is to add a little lighting for use in the dark. A few solar lights around the edge would be a low cost solution.
Nice place with two sides for different doggy sizes. There’s a nice shade structure with a bench near each gate. Not sure what the ‘standards’ are for dog parks, but I like that they have water available and complimentary clean up bags.
Again, maybe my expectations for dog parks are a little different than most because I’ve been to so many. But pet safe parks around Nashville and Knoxville, seem to be a lot bigger and a lot better thought out? There are agility training items here although not that many, and the only poop a bag and trash receptacle station is when you first come in the gate, so if you don’t grab a bag right then you got a long way walk back to the front gate to get one. What I can’t believe is that Royal Canin actually makes dog treats and yet if you read the board it says dog treats are specifically prohibited? I guess they haven’t met any of the intelligent people who think that bringing dog treats to the dog park is a good idea? The park does have a few trees and it has plenty of room for your dog to run, and most importantly it has plenty of grass for your dog to run on. There are not many places to sit although there is one bench under a nice tree. So over all this is a enjoyable Park but I do not believe it is a four-and-a-half Star Park comparatively speaking
My boys love going to the dog park. They. Love walking on the path. We have not encountered any other dog yet but they would love to play with others. It’s very nice and not too busy.
I wish a dog park like this were more common!…everywhere!
We traveled from Tulsa, Oklahoma with three dogs and found nothing on the road …
Headed to New York and we hope we can find another dog park this nice!
