UPDATE: On top of the mildly septic hot spots our dog received in their care, she had to be hospitalized for pneumonia. I’m wordless for how little you could care about a dog, please just board somewhere else.
I wouldn’t trust the boarding here. It’s run like a business and no one really cares. My dog came back with very large hot spots all around her neck that will take weeks to heal (clearly from being wet and not drying for days) and in multiple boardings they have come home sick. No calls, no notes or updates, I’d really just try a more local place that takes fewer dogs and provides more personal care.
The staff are amazing with my dog. They treat the dogs that come in like they are their own. They greet the pups (and owners) with a lot of excitement in the morning and he is tuckered out by the time I get him. They are caring, personable and professional

I utilized American K9 Country to board my dog for a long weekend. It was very easy to register him and loved all the extras that you can add on. Unfortunately my dog is selective so I did not sign him up for anything even though I REALLY wanted to. I also love that they will still accept him for being reactive at times whereas other places say they have to get along with everyone.
This place is amazing! Our dogs had such an awesome time swimming. They got so much exercise and were exhausted when they came home.
The facility is very beautifully. Manicured well kept and staff is very informative and available immediately! You get a half an hour in the pool for NULL and it is worth every penny! I highly recommend this if you have a dog!
I tried American K9 Country for the first time for one night of boarding and daycare. Upon picking up my Shichon I noticed her right eye was red. I immediately called and they told me she must have gotten shampoo in her eye. The next day I brought her to the emergency vet and was told that she has a severely bruised eye/trauma along with a tick that had not been there long. After the appointment I brought her back to American K9 to find that I had to speak to Amber who was not in. I e-mailed Amber that night and had to reach back out the next day at noon and she apologized that she was in training. She proceeded to tell me I signed a waiver and that there was nothing she could do about it and had zero compassion, not even asking how she was or even an apology. In regards to the tick, she indicated that there was no way she could have gotten it in her outdoor play area and it has been there for awhile (no idea how she would know this and disagree with the vet). Her last words after defending the facility was that she would put in the computer that I would not be returning. She now needs a cone and I have to put drops in her eyes for two weeks with a follow up appointment in hopes that it heals. If you want to board your dog in a safe facility, I would highly recommend looking elsewhere.
