Lovely place for an easy walk. Can often spot herons, turtles and a variety of birds and butterflies. Paved and flat, though not shady – wear sunscreen!
Great Rail Trail not for road bikes in part. Would be amazing if they extended it into Kingston!

Trail follows route 209 so not the most scenic trail in the area.
Parking lot comes up quickly if coming from the North. If you have cars speeding behind you might be a little dangerous turning into the parking lot.
Path is paved and relatively flat. Best uses would be kid activities like bike riding. I’m just visiting and this was super close to my Airbnb. I’ll probably look for something more scenic for my next run.
