I was there for golf. It is a course with beautiful scenery, surprisingly challenging for a par 3, and a very affordable 18 holes. I actually give it 4.5 stars. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is because we haven’t had much rain. They don’t water the greens or the fairways very well. Even though they have a reservoir for that purpose.
Paddle boats and fishing. Par 3 golf course is really fun.. this park has slot of activities. Camping in cabin or tent couple lakes to fish swimming pool. Great times
Really needs to clean up the putt putt course. A shame what its become. Needs to be heavily welded. On course one there were 3 what looked to be rather old piles of animal poop of some sorts. Our golf clubs handles were sticky. Tons of leaves and debris on the courses. I couldn’t remember the last time the course looked good, being the only course in the area they could really get more people if they actually cared about the course.
We swam at the pool. The pool has gone down hill since being replaced. Upon arrival only two out of 4 restroom/changing areas were available for use. The other two were locked up. There was only one person working concessions which made for along wait time for food. And the bottom corners of the pool looked like they hadn’t been cleaned properly before reopening the pool for the year.
They have swimming ,play area for children is great. The lakes/ponds are catching and release fishing. Pavilion restrooms get very hot but they are clean . Restrooms need proper cool ventilation so people don’t pass out in there.
