This little grassy area is the perfect place to have a picnic and let your kids or leashed dog burn off some energy. It’s adjacent to Arnold House, a 17th century building, along with Lonsdale Gateway trailhead, and has a spacious lot for parking. The grass can get soggy after inclement weather, so be sure to wear appropriate footwear and clothes you don’t mind getting a bit dirty.

A cute little park that looks smaller than it is. Follow some of the semi paved paths around to a trailhead which connects to Chase Farm. It is through the woods and is marked although the markers are faded. Be sure you wear proper shoes. But it is a calm quiet park where you come to take a quiet stroll. Leashed pets are welcome. Trash receptacles are available, but restrooms are not.
