Mililani Dog Park in Mililani, Hawaii

Mililani Dog Park is a popular local spot for dog owners in Mililani, Hawaii looking for a safe and spacious place to let their pets socialize and play. The park features a fully fenced-in area with double-gated entry to help ensure your pup’s safety. Separate spaces for small and large dogs let pets mingle with friends their own size. Visitors appreciate that there’s fresh water available for dogs — just note the bowls and faucet area can get muddy after rain, so consider bringing your own bowl.

The park boasts benches and a grassy, open space, although shade is limited with just a few trees providing cover. The terrain is a mix of grass and red dirt, so be prepared for muddy paws, especially after a rainy day. Patrons recommend timing your visit around late morning or after 4:30 p.m., when it’s less crowded and the vibe is friendlier. Parking is available, but may be limited if nearby baseball fields are in use. Be sure to bring your own poop bags as dispensers are often empty. Mililani Dog Park is located close to other family-friendly amenities, including a children’s playground.

Red dirt and mud so wear something you don’t mind getting dirty. Can be rainy and park only has few trees for cover. Be aware, as any dog park, the owners are sometimes not attentive (poo or aggressive behavior).

Afternoons after the workday tends to get busy. Has a watering area with bowls but it is always muddy. Doggy Landmines are not the worst issue but they are there. Stinky rubbish is sometimes near the fence line and can be irritating.

Awesome place for dogs. This dog parks is fenced in and has 2 locking doors so you can enter and leave without dogs escaping. There is water as well. There are plastic bag dispensers but these are often empty so bring your own.

Nice and friendly park! Clean, BUT does have it’s mudd puddles that of course the dogs find, but there is a water hose on the way in/out if you wanna rinse your pet so that’s super convenient. Very grassy other then the random mudd.

It’s a nice place to take your dogs. There are some issues with other pet owners but it’s not too bad, anything “bad” rarely happens. I was told by a few regulars that bringing your pets after morning is a lot better, some people are more tense around that time, but with my personal experience it just depends on the crowd.

There’s a baseball team that practice in the field on the other side of the fence. During “live practice” they block the whole row of parking stalls (with the handicap stalls) near that field.
