About a quarter mile walk down the path to a decent beach spot. Busy on a hot day, but easy access and good for swimming. Warning: lots of off leash dogs.

Our small pups were the only 2 in park so they ran free and uninterrupted. We sat in shade at picnic table to eat our lunch from Shelton’s Natural Food Market. They also have a large playground for the kiddos, sports fields and restrooms but we only used the dog park.

Smallish area, it actually warns you that the park is only meant for small dogs, which basically excludes our medium sized dogs. But no one else was there at the time so we made use of the space. There’s a nice hiking trail adjacent to the park which follows the Russian River.

Nice dog park for small dogs with a few benches and seats in the shade which is a plus. The grass looked healthy. I visited with my dog around 4pm and it wasn’t too crowded. After playing in the park, we walked around the rest of the park. There appeared to be a community garden, play area for kids, and a nice field.
