The trashiest lake you will see in grand junction. But the fishing used to be good. As of this year they have managed to kill off almost all the fish in the lake and they are all over the bank and it’s now also the stinkiest lake in gj. Do not fish here unless you wanna get skunked or potentially sick from the dead fish all over the waters and banks. This lake is also never ever checked by any official of any kind so you will catch alot of people doing things they should here.

Was good short of the broken glass, used condom and elastic arm bands on the ground. Seems to possibly be a Hotspot for illicit activities. Maybe not the best place to bring a 4 month old

This area is incredible! I really appreciate that it’s used by people who are respectful of nature and other people. There are two osprey nests visible on utility poles!

Great place to walk my dog! The river trail connects you to Corn Lake. There is a frisby golf course I see people enjoying on a regular basis. Half mile from the new Clifton Community Center.

The entire park is wheelchair friendly. There is a pond with piers and fish, and a nature trail along the river. Many trails are paved. There are many sitting and picnic areas. Also bathrooms.
On the far east side, the path goes through a beautiful working ranch, and right along the river. There’s ducks, geese, herons, cranes, hawks, eagles, songbirds and other birdwatching. The trail is paved and impeccably maintained.
