If you’re looking for a dog park in Hagerstown, Maryland, Doubs Woods Park is a fantastic, pet-friendly destination. The park features a newly built, sectioned-off dog park designed with both small and large dog owners in mind—each area offers plenty of room for safe off-leash play and interaction. Dog owners regularly note the friendly community, making it a welcoming spot for socializing your pup.
Doubs Woods Park is also well known for its vast, shady spaces thanks to its many tall, mature trees, making it comfortable for pets and owners alike, even on hot days. With paved walking trails, picnic pavilions, playgrounds, restrooms, and wide grassy fields, it’s a popular spot for families and their furry companions. Whether you are seeking dog-friendly hiking, a quiet stroll, or a place to let your dog run free, this Hagerstown park has you covered.
Shaded with trees in most spots this is a great park for walking or playing on the 2 different playground sets on opposite sides of the park property.
There is an open auditorium type canopied stage where there are a variety of performances that have taken place.
There is a sand ground volleyball court with net.
Restrooms are available and from my experience seem clean for a public park.
There are also pavilion areas available, and can be reserved for special events.

It was a nice little park with some shade. I was there for the pride festival.

Dog and family friendly park. Every time we visit, we see a mixture of wildlife (deer, groundhogs, rabbits, fox, and squirrels).

Nice park with multiple playgrounds, covered pavilions, grills, real bathrooms, volley courts, and more. The discovery station held a kids festival here today and it was a great location for it. Outside, lots of room in the grass, places to sit and eat, and shaded areas from the trees it has.

Love this park. There are so many old, tall trees here, making the whole park very shady. There’s a brand new playground here, too, and it’s perfect for these hot summer days.
