Good place to let my dog get some off-leash exercise. Large and small dogs have separate areas. If it rains the whole place will be a mud mess, but it seldom rains here.

We went on the winter. It was covered in snow but it is a good little dog park. Room for the dogs to run and plenty of bags. Well located near other activities at the park.

We visited Ruidoso Dog Park during the 2nd week of April. It felt amazing outside, and my dog loved how much room there is to run.

This is a big park, 2 sections, one for small dogs and one for large. Our experience was wonderful. Our pup is Anatolian mix and 78lbs. She was able to safely play with great Pyrenees and a large breed poodle. Both dogs and owners were very watchful and respectful. None of the dogs ever made physical contact, just ran and played and hopped with each other.

Your experience may vary depending on who’s there and who’s not. People can very easily ruin a great thing. It’s not the Dog Parks fault for what irresponsible dog owners do.

This park is worth the 5 stars. Great location, beautiful scenery, large space, very clean, trash recepticles and dog poo bags available, seating and lounging areas, parking directly in front of gate…. we saw nothing wrong with the park itself. If you go, be responsible. Keep watch on all dogs and owners present.

Beautiful view of mountain, well manicured. Plenty of room for dogs to run. Can get muddy from rain or snow but that’s nature. We enjoyed seeing the wild horses and Elk too while the dogs safely played.
