Basin City Memorial Park – Dog-Friendly Fun in Mesa, Washington

Basin City Memorial Park in Mesa, Washington, offers dog owners a peaceful escape with pet-friendly open spaces and scenic views. While not an official dog park, many locals enjoy taking their furry friends for long walks along open country trails and hillsides, enjoying views of the Columbia River and the quiet seclusion this small-town spot provides. The park features grassy areas (though they can be dry in summer), ample shade from mature trees, and a swimming area that’s a favorite for families and dogs alike during hot weather.

Though the park has some basic amenities like restrooms, picnic tables, and ample parking, visitors note that some facilities, like water fountains and bathrooms, may need maintenance. While there is open space for dogs to play, the park is not fully fenced and does not offer a designated small or large dog area. Shade is plentiful, and parking is convenient. It’s a great spot for dog-friendly hiking, picnicking, and enjoying the quiet, scenic surroundings of eastern Washington.

The place was ok the only problems are the once called playground there is now destroyed and unstable, the water fountain doesn’t work, the bathrooms are a mess, I wish this place was fixed and to there be more things to do there because there is alot of space for like a dog park or something else but over all the place is In need of a fix up
