We were on our way to Niagara Falls and I spotted a huge EGA and was like “whoa, what was that doing there”, so I had to stop. The park itself was nice, but the Marine Corps portion of it was my favorite.

This is a really well kept little park, with a couple of pavilions (one nicely separated by an old slip and trees), a playground, an exercise round, and a small performance stage. It has a fishing walk on the slip, and plenty of covered space on the river proper, right off the parking area, making it easily accessible for those with mobility issues.

While I have never attended, it seems like they do free movies and concerts over the summers, and have a nice grassy area before the stage that has a slight hill that would give those in the back a good view. If you want some quiet space near the water, this is a really nice place.

This is a nice local park in North Tonawanda right on the shore of the Niagara river. there is a large playground, picnic areas and a porta potty. There are two pavilions and fishing is allowed. we just made a quick stop here and I enjoyed watching the ice drift by on the river.
