Cute place! If you wanna pull over to stretch your legs, sit down at the picnic tables and work on a snack, or walk down the dirt path to the water for a dip, here’s a great place to stop!
There are some hole-in-the-floor toilets and a bunch of grills around the pavilions, though the grills are closed off right now (7/13/25) likely due to the high fire risk.

We went on a Saturday morning and was there until 4pm, this site was empty except for maybe 4 other families, which was amazing! Everyone was well spread out.
The picnic areas were also clean and I would like to think we had great view. One minor con was the lack of walking trails, but that wasn’t a major issue with us, since we had a soccer ball that we played with.
It was a lovely time!

Ended up here because Bermuda Flats was entirely underwater. Even flooded, we had a blast. Enough picnic tables for everyone, bathrooms were as clean as they could be. Ample trash places, felt safe and comfortable. Because of the water levels, we couldn’t access the trails, but the high water gave us even more fun. Tons of wild life. Glad we stopped off here.
