Located at 3243 Bailey Rd, Fernandina Soccer Field is a versatile spot in Fernandina Beach, Florida, popular for sports, outdoor fitness, runners, and pet-friendly walks. While not a traditional dog park, many locals and visitors enjoy bringing their dogs for walks and to enjoy the open areas, especially in the evenings. The park provides space for recreation, some exercise equipment, scenic pathways for dog-friendly hiking, and a generally uncrowded, relaxed atmosphere.
While there is no specifically fenced area or separate section for small and large dogs, dog owners appreciate the peaceful environment, wildlife viewing, and paved trails suitable for leashed walks. Visitors recommend bringing your own chair and shade as there is little shelter, and parking can be limited during busy times. The park’s proximity to Amelia Island’s renowned beaches and nature spots makes it a favorite launch point for outdoor adventures, from pet-friendly trails to kayaking and wildlife exploration.
