It was a good walk through the part but was quite disappointed to see so much trash. Alot of history in this park is worth the excursion.
Went to watch our grandson run in across country track meet, would love to watch a football game there. The stands are built on the side of a hill, great view.
Love Swenson Park! Located in Spur Texas…here you will find the football field, track and field house, the county barn(which is rentable for all you special occasions), the golf course-beautiful, the softball/baseball field, the public pool(fingers crossed that they get it up and running again), and a look out peak where you can park and see almost the entire town of Spur! Such a neat and beautiful park!!
Really nice park. Came for a little league game. They really need to update the signs, it was really hard to find the right turn. FYI anyone coming here … turn right at the Alsups and follow the winding road.
Nice shade trees and very friendly people in this little town.
Contains a well kept nine hole golf course. The pool needs work to re-open.
